Milagu Rasam

Ingredients:

To dry roast and grind

1. Pepper – 2 Tspn

2. Cumin Seeds – 2 Tspn

3. Toor dal –  1 Tspn

For the Rasam

1. Tamarind paste

2. Tomatoes – finely chopped

3. Water

4. Salt

Method of Preparation:

1. Heat water in a vessel;  add tamarind and salt

2. Dry roast and grind pepper, cumin seeds and toor dal

3. Add tomatoes to the boiling water

4. Add the ground masala powder to the boiling rasam

5. When it boils switch off and garnish with coriander leaves
