 Ingredients:

1. Baby Onions – 1/2 Kg

2. Sambhar Powder

3. Pressure cooked Toor Dhal – 1/2 cup

4. Tamarind paste

5. salt

6. Mustard

To Grind:

1. Bengal gram dhal – 1 Tbspn

2. Coriander seeds – 1 Tbspn

3. Red Chillies – 1

4. Grated Coconut – 3 Tspn

Method of Preparation:

1. Roast the ingredients given under ‘To Grind’ and grind them into a fine paste

2. In a kadai, heat little oil and temper mustard

3. Add small onions and fry them till they get transperent

4. Add tamarind paste, salt and sambhar powder

5. Let it boil with little water

6. Add toor dhal and let it boil for some more time

7. Add the ground masala and after boiling garnish withcurry leaves and serve
