Ingredients:

1. Pacha Payaru (Green moong) – 1 Cup

2. Onions – 1

3. Tomato – 1

4. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

5. Green chillies – 1

6. Garam masala – 1tsp

7. oil, salt, cumin seeds

Method of Preparation:

1. Soak pacha payaru overnight and let it sprout

2. Cut onions, tomatoes and slit green chillies

3. In a kadai, heat oil and add cumin seeds

4. Add onions and  green chillies

5. When the onions turn golden brown add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes

6. Add cut tomatoes

7. When the tomatoes are cooked, add garam masala and the green moong

8. Add salt and required quantity of water

9. Close the kadai and let the masala boil

10. When the masala is cooked add a spoonful of lime juice , garnish with coriander leaves and serve  with chapathis
