I got this recipe from Mrs. Mallika Badrinath’s book and tweaked it a bit.

Ingredients:

1.  Baby Potatoes – 10

2. Onions – 1

3. Tomatoes – 1

4. Green Chillies -1

5. Ginger Garlic paste – 1 spoon

6. Peas – few boiled

7. Chenna masala powder

8. salt

9. sugar – pinch

Method of Preparation:

1. Place baby potatoes in the oven and microwave for 4 minutes

2. Carefully remomve them and peel the skin

3. Make a small hole in the potatoes and stuff the boiled peas

4. Close the hole with some more potatoes

5. Heat oil in the pan and shallow fry the potatoes and keep them aside

6. In the same pan, heat some more oil and add cumin seeds

7. Add finely chopped onions and slit green chillies and ginger garlic paste

8. When the onions turn transparent, add the pureed tomatoes

9. Add salt, turmeric powder, chenna masala powder and a pinch of sugar

10. When the gravy boils, add the shallow fried potatoes

11. Let the gravy boil so that the flavor enters into the potatoes

12. Add lemon juice and serve with chapathis
