Jeera Pulao

This is a simple dish which can be prepared very easily but tastes great.

Ingredients:

1. Basmathi rice
2. Jeera (Cumin) – Approximately half cup for 1 cup of rice
3. salt
4. chilli powder – little
5. Coriander to garnish

Method of preparation:

1. In a rice cooker, add washed basmathi rice. Add jeera and required water to boil
2. Add salt, a pinch of chilli powder and a pinch of turmeric.Mix well
3. Cook the rice
4. Once its done, garnish with coriander and serve hot
5. This goes well with raita or any side dish
