Babycorn – Capsicum Masala

This is my 50th post. I have tasted this dish before and recently found this in Pratibha Rao’s Indian Food Court. Tried @ home for the first time and it came out really well.

1. Baby corn – 4
2. Capsicum – 2
3. Beans – 3
4. Potato – 2
5. Tomatoes – 4
6. Onion -2
7. Cashewnut – 5
8. ginger
9. garlic
10. turmeric powder
11. salt
12. chilli powder
13. oil
14. sombu
How to prepare:
1. Boil potatoes, beans and babycorn and keep it aside.
2. Grind tomatoes, onion, cashewnuts, ginger, garlic.
3. In a kadai, with little oil slightly fry capsicum and keep aside.
4. With some more oil, add sombu. Then add the ground paste.
5. Add the boiled vagetables and capsicum.
6. Add turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder and cook for some time.
7. It turned out to be a tasty side dish for chapathis.
