Red & Yellow Capsicum Chutney

I got this recipe from blogsphere. Thanks to Mahanadhi & Aayi’s recipes  for the recipe. I modified it a little and it came out very well 🙂

Red & Yellow Capsicum Chutney
Red & Yellow Capsicum Chutney

Ingredients:

1. Red Capsicum – 1

2. Yellow Capsicum – 1

3. Garlic Cloves – 4

4. Onion – 1

5. Tamarind – little

6. Green Chillies – 4

7. Jaggery – Little

8. Salt to taste.

9. Oil

How to prepare:

1. In a kadai, add little oil. Add finely chopped onion, garlic cloves, green chilles.

2. When the onions turn brown, add finely chopped red & yellow capsicum, little tamarind.

3. When the vegetables get fried, let it cool a little.

4. Transfer the contents to a mixer and add required rock salt & little jaggery.

5. Grind into a fine mixture and serve with Chapathis, idlies or dosas.
