Ingredients:

1. Rava (Sooji)    1 cup

2. Onion

3. Tomato

4. Green Chilli

5. Urud Dhall

6. Mustard Seeds

7.Ginger

8. Salt to taste

9.Water             2 cups

10. Oil

How to prepare

1. In a kadai, heat little oil and add mustard seeds, little urud dhall.

2. Add finely chopped onion, green chillies and ginger.

3. Add finely chopped tomato.

4. Add salt to taste.

5. Add 2 cups of water.

6. As water begins to boil, add 1 cup rava with constant stirring so that it doesn’t form lumps.

7. Hot tasty upma is now ready to eat. This is an easy to make evening tiffin.
